Not because she'll read it now. She's too young. But because I know a day will come — maybe when she's my age or sooner I hope — when she'll wonder what her father believed, what he struggled with, what he figured out. And I want her to find an answer.</p><p>Most inheritances are spent in a generation. Money runs out. Houses are sold. Heirlooms gather dust. But perspective, if distilled carefully enough, compounds across generations. It's the only inheritance that grows instead of shrinks.</p><p>I don't have it all figured out. Nobody does. But I'm writing it down anyway — the lessons, the contradictions, the quiet realizations that come from trying to be a better person. Not for applause. Not for reach.
